Such a girl

I'm expecting Animal Control in the next little bit to pick up our friend.
She got to stay an extra day since they couldn't get to the house to pick her up yesterday, & she got a nice trip to the park with the boys.guest pup
Everyone there thought she was just adorable, which makes me feel even worse for sending her on her way. It's just not feasible for us, though, to have a puppy — & a large one at that — in the house right now. She's a little too excitable about cats moving through the house, & it is their house, too. I feel badly at times that they don't get the attention that they used to before there were two dogs here.
I hope that either her family finds her there soon, or that someone comes to the pound either today or tomorrow during adoption hours & falls in love with her.
I wish her well, & hope that we're doing what's best for her; maybe I'll go by tomorrow & check on her myself… .

That is a sad choice to have to make, but puppies are cute and therefore have a good chance of being adopted. Someone probably will fall in love with her. Mabey they won't realize that she will grow up to be a large dog. That happened with my neighbors. They adopted a puppy found on the streets thinking he was close to full grown, and he grew into one of the larger dogs I've ever been around. He is as tall as my friend's Akita who I assume is about avarage hight for the breed. Things often work out for adorable puppies.
